It helps, but it is not required. The profile asks everything an operator needs. If you have a CV or certificates, upload them; they go to private storage.
Only us. Phone, email, WhatsApp, documents and pay expectations are never shown publicly. An interested operator sends a contact request and we pass it on.
For guest-facing positions, yes: most guests are American or Canadian. For engine room, shipyard and shore positions it matters much less. Put your real level.
Most are not. We collect them from public job boards, agencies and employer career pages so you do not have to check twenty sites. Each card links to the original posting. When a job is ours, it says so.
