Your first anchorage is Candelero Bay — a pristine stretch of turquoise water framed by dramatic desert coastline. Spend the afternoon swimming, paddleboarding, snorkeling, or simply relaxing on deck as the landscape unfolds. As the sun sets, enjoy dinner onboard and settle in for your first night under the clear Baja sky.
Cruise north along the coastline of San Francisquito Island, widely regarded as one of the most striking landscapes in Baja. Spend the day exploring its clear waters by paddleboard or kayak, and snorkel among vibrant marine life just beneath the surface. Between activities, relax on deck and take in the dramatic contrast of desert and sea.
A short 1.5-hour navigation brings you to San José Island, a pristine and lesser-visited gem known for its clear waters, rich marine life and peaceful coves. Drop anchor in a secluded bay and spend the day fishing, swimming and snorkeling. With no schedule to keep, the island opens up entirely at your pace — and the night sky here is among the clearest in all of Baja.
A full day to explore San José Island and its surroundings — hidden anchorages, reefs and beaches that most visitors never reach. The highlight is El Pardito, a small island community where local fishermen offer the day's freshest catch: lobster, clams, marlin, mahi-mahi. From sea to table, the experience couldn't be more authentic. Snorkeling, kayaking and sport fishing fill the rest of the day.
Sail back toward Espíritu Santo and anchor at Ensenada Grande, one of the island's most iconic bays, known for its calm turquoise waters and white-sand shoreline. Snorkel among colorful reef fish, hike the scenic desert trails or simply enjoy the rare quiet of a fully secluded beach on your last night at anchor.
Conclude your expedition by visiting Balandra Bay, La Paz's most beautiful and family-friendly beach. Enjoy its shallow, crystal-clear waters one last time before sailing back to Marina La Paz — wrapping up an unforgettable 5-night, 6-day voyage across the Sea of Cortez.
